Born behind the iron curtain in East Germany, growing up in West Germany and now living in the US. My life, so far, has always been exciting.
For over 30 years now, photography is the medium to express everything I am experiencing.
I started as an apprentice in a Portrait Studio and got my Master‘s Degree in Photography in 2000.
It is exciting and fulfilling to work with people, to show their true nature and maybe their unspoken dreams through a play of light and shadow.
Since 2015, I am also exhibiting my work, mainly architecture and landscape, worldwide and have won national and international awards (http://annetteschreiberphotography.com/awards/) for it.
Seeing the world through a lens makes the unseen so much more visible.
I really love what I do! Working as a photographer is the best job I can imagine for myself, and I am always looking forward to every new project.
